Context and potential Skills and relevance Application Starting with a group Kickstarter project you’ll be introduced to both your course mates and your specialism of business – so you’ll start learning applicable skills from day one! You’ll also experience enrichment activities to fully contextualise your learning – from trips to consumer insights and guest speakers. As well as learning topics from a domestic and international perspective and about work and wellbeing, you’ll also discover your potential as a business professional AND the world of careers waiting for you, (through real-life client projects and applied learning). Throughout your second year, you’ll start to practice the skills so desperately needed when working in business – frommanaging people, to selling and networking, even how to survive in the new digital landscape. This is the year you divemuch deeper into your chosen business specialism and can choose to exploremore niche avenues with our two optionmodules. You’ll begin to understand the skills you learnt in year one on amuchmore enhanced level, with opportunities throughout the year to showcase your growing knowledge through projects and assignments. Ready to put what you’ve learnt in to practice? Then it’s time to head out on your year-long placement. With the help of a placement tutor, you’ll begin to reflect and develop into the business professional you hope to become when you graduate.
