However their spark of interest in agriculture ignites, our students are united in their interest in the environment, food production and provenance, sustainability, and the application of technology. Many students look to join our agriculture programmes because they have been raised on or near to a family farm and want to follow in the business. Others are taking their first steps into the sector, due to their interest in science, business, or other land-based subjects, for example geography. Your interest might come from other activities connected to the land and livestock management, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Young Farmers, outdoor sports or an interest in food production.
