Water supplied across our campus comes from our own bore holes – staff and students are encouraged to fill reusable cups or bottles from taps and fountains. Our Catering Team works hard to reduce volumes of food waste and ensure any food waste is separated from general waste. Insect hotels have been built and installed across the University estate to encourage biodiversity. Green movement - Cycle toWork, car sharing and minimising cross- campus vehicle journeys help us to keep down travel-related emissions.
