Recently Becky published her final year project in collaboration with BSAVA Petsavers, working to reduce microbial load when dogs are being prepared for surgery. The project was such a success, Becky was asked to present her findings at the British Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress. Speaking after the fact, VN lecturer Kat Hart added “Becky’s success shows just what a Veterinary Nursing degree can do – and that research isn’t just limited to other veterinary professionals – we can all have an impact.” Readmore here . Having spent the last 12 years working in a veterinary hospital in Leigh, Lancashire, George has turned his efforts – and talent – to teaching our budding RVN’s here at Harper Adams. “RVNs are key to ensuring positive patient outcomes, as they are involved in all aspects of treatment," says George. “It is always a privilege to be in a position whereby you are trusted to care for someone’s pet. “Harper Adams is a fantastic university.
