I couldn’t be more grateful," says Becky Verhoven, Veterinary Nursing with Companion Animal Behaviour graduate. Recently Becky published her final year project in collaboration with BSAVA Petsavers, working to reduce microbial load when dogs are being prepared for surgery. The project was such a success, Becky was asked to present her findings at the British Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress. Speaking after the fact, VN lecturer Kat Hart added “Becky’s success shows just what a Veterinary Nursing degree can do – and that research isn’t just limited to other veterinary professionals – we can all have an impact.” Readmore here . Having spent the last 12 years working in a veterinary hospital in Leigh, Lancashire, George has turned his efforts – and talent – to teaching our budding RVN’s here at Harper Adams. “RVNs are key to ensuring positive patient outcomes, as they are involved in all aspects of treatment," says George. “It is always a privilege to be in a position whereby you are trusted to care for someone’s pet. “Harper Adams is a fantastic university.
