Harper Adams is the leading provider of ecological and applied entomology education in the UK. Entomologists are scientists who study insects and allied invertebrates – specifically focusing on taxonomy, evolution, physiology, behaviour, ecology and population dynamics. A Zoology with Entomology degree can lead to a broad range of careers, spanning conservation, ecology, pest management in agriculture, forestry, horticulture and urban environments as well as medical/veterinary entomology. Our teaching is guided by the world leading research carried out by our academic staff and their students. Several graduates of this broad course have gone on to undertake postgraduate level research in the field of entomology.
