FoodBusiness Management Student Story: Lily Layton Our Food Business Management degree is ideal for those who are seeking a career in the food sector; all the way frommajor retailers and producers to small, artisan businesses too! Our integrated approach to food business will equip you with the skills, knowledge and understanding specific to the sector and supplement this through the development of transferrable skills that will increase your career opportunities and potential in other industries. With a mix of academic and practical learning, you’ll experiment in the kitchens of our Food Academy, as well as sink your teeth into projects and activities that see you working with successful food businesses. You’ll then head out into your transformative placement year, where you can experience the real-world application of all you’ve been taught – and pick up extra skills along the way. Our teamworks across a range of species, so I assist ondifferent projects across livestock, monogastric, fisheries & aquaculture. I also liaisewithmany different teams across the business including buying, technical & marketing aswell as our suppliers and farming andfisheries producers.
