Different paths - What route will you take to university? There are many routes into university with us at Harper Adams. Whether you have flown through your GCSEs and A-Levels (or equivalent), completed more vocational qualifications such as BTECs, or haven’t yet had the opportunity to reach your potential, Harper could be the place for you. + Foundation Year There are countless reasons you might not have started an undergraduate degree right away; but that doesn’t mean you can’t. Our Foundation Year Programme gives you the perfect step up onto your chosen specialism; giving you the right experience, relationships, and confidence to thrive during your degree. See page 80. Mature students If you’re considering starting university as a mature student, your qualifications might not match up to the ones listed in our entry requirements – but don’t let that put you off. Get in touch and we can evaluate the grades you do have, plus any experience you have gained, to determine whether you are likely to succeed on one of our courses. Our mature students report that being a little older than their peers doesn’t matter – because once you start your course you are all in the same boat! Degree Apprenticeships We offer Degree Apprenticeships – get paid a salary by a company to train as an apprentice and your employer can put you forward for a degree at Harper. You will complete your degree part-time over five years, whilst working a minimum of 30 hours per week. The company pay for the cost of your apprenticeship and your tuition fees.
