Harper Adams University - Prospectus 2024
Over the next few pages, you’ll find information about our societies and clubs (including tug of war, rowing and gaming), on-campus living and learning and why Harper life is so loved by our students. Harper Adams plays host to a wide range of creature comforts, so it will quickly feel like home. With our all- weather pitches making sport a year-round triumph, you can bet our Harper teams are either playing, training or practising something—no matter the conditions. If sport isn’t your thing—or the weather gets a bit too much— there are plenty of on-campus hot spots to relax and recharge! Take the Graze Café for instance; the perfect place to grab a bacon butty (made fromproduce on our working farm) and a homemade brownie or two – trust us, they’re delicious. Just in case all of the above wasn’t enough, our Big Wednesday afternoons give many students down time to explore the campus and take part in extra-curricular activities. You can play sport, immerse yourself in society activities, read, volunteer, shop, see friends, or whatever it is you need to unwind. After an afternoon of relaxation, you’ll be more than ready for our Student’s Union Big Wednesday nights out. And yet, life at Harper is so muchmore than words or pictures on a page can show. The smell of our gorgeous, farmland campus, the sound of laughter in our quads, the camaraderie, friendship and support we all have for one another really is something to be experienced in person. Don’t believe us? Well, you’ll have to come see for yourself. Find out about our next open day below. OpenDays 2023: March 11 th June 10 th October 7 th November 11 th HARPER.AC.UK | 105
