Harper Adams University Postgraduate Prospectus
ESSENTIALS FEESAND FINANCE Fees for taught postgraduate students If you have been looking into postgraduate study you will already have an idea of the main costs involved; namely tuition fees and living expenses. Postgraduate study does involve a financial commitment but it is a rewarding investment and financial support can be sourced, although it will probably require some work on your behalf. Tuition fees All students are personally liable for the payment of all charges relating to their time at the university; this includes tuition fees, accommodation and other course and activity related costs. If you have made arrangements for any of these to be paid by a third party, such as Student Finance for tuition fees, employer sponsorship or payment by a parent/ guardian, you must ensure that this is in place in time for the payments to be made. Should you leave the university prematurely, you will still be liable for at least a proportion of the costs incurred, depending upon which stage of your course you have reached. Tuition fees for full time postgraduate students are paid in three instalments in October, January and May. International students may not be able to have an instalment plan for their tuition fees due to VISA regulations. Part-time students will pay for the modules that they are registered for in the current academic year. Each module invoice will be sent during the week of attendance. Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date.
