The Bamford Library This modern library provides a wide range of learning resources and services, including: • Access to around 42,000 books, a growing e-book collection, over 4,000 print and electronic journals and the most relevant databases for your courses. • Range of study facilities including group study rooms and a silent study room. • Tutorials and individual support on finding and using resources. • Dedicated librarians to help you get the most out of the resources and who understand the differing needs of part-time and postgraduate students. The building itself is an award-winning example of sustainable design and is named after Sir Anthony Bamford, chairman of JCB and sponsor of the Engineering Design Centre housed within the library complex.
